Leadership Coaching
Leading a school is no small task. From navigating daily operations to driving long-term vision, school leaders face complex challenges—often with limited resources, especially in smaller institutions. Even the most experienced leaders benefit from trusted support.
That’s where leadership coaching comes in.
A leadership coach is a strategic partner who helps school leaders and board chairs strengthen their confidence, reflect on their leadership practices, and develop new capabilities. Through personalized guidance, coaching offers a space for support, validation, and growth—so leaders can meet challenges head-on and lead with clarity and purpose.
Brooke offers:
Individual coaching
Group coaching for heads and senior supervisors
Team Coaching
Board Chair Group Coaching
Individual Leadership Coaching
School leaders carry enormous responsibility—balancing the needs of their school, community, and board. Despite being surrounded by others, many leaders find themselves feeling isolated and unsupported in their role.
Individual coaching offers a powerful solution.
Working one-on-one with Brooke, once or twice a month, you'll receive personalized coaching in a confidential and supportive space. Coaching helps you build confidence, find clarity, and stay grounded amid the demands of leadership.
Together, you'll focus on:
The personal dynamics that shape how you lead and respond to challenges
Practical strategies for managing your work—like time management, staff supervision, and board relationships
Developing key leadership skills tailored to your goals
This is your space to reflect, process, problem-solve, and grow.
Individual coaching is available for school leaders, senior administrators, and board chairs.
Group Leadership Coaching
Leadership doesn’t have to be a solo journey.
Group coaching provides a dynamic, collaborative space for school leaders to gain insight, build skills, and grow alongside trusted peers. In small groups of 5–8 leaders with similar roles and goals, participants meet regularly to reflect, learn, share challenges, and offer support.
Group coaching enhances the benefits of individual coaching by introducing the diverse perspectives, wisdom, and encouragement of fellow leaders. It’s also a powerful opportunity to strengthen your own coaching and listening skills as you support others in the group.
Current Groups Offered:
Heads of School / Executive Directors
Senior Supervisors (e.g., Division Heads, Associate Heads)
Each group offers a confidential, supportive environment where leadership development is deepened through connection.
Team Coaching
Building a cohesive, high-performing team in a school setting can be complex. Differing personalities, goals, and internal dynamics often create tension or misalignment—impacting both productivity and morale.
Team coaching offers a constructive path forward.
With the support of a skilled external facilitator, teams can clarify shared values, align around goals, and establish effective communication and collaboration practices. Whether you're part of an admin team, department, or admissions office, team coaching helps surface and address challenges in a way that promotes understanding—not blame.
Brooke customizes each coaching engagement to meet the specific needs of the team. Options include short-term interventions, targeted facilitation, or ongoing support throughout the school year.
Strengthen your team culture. Build trust. Work better—together.
Board Chair Group Coaching
Working with the National Association of Independent Schools for the second year, Brooke offers a year-long, group coaching experience for board chairs.
